Mazie Mae came into our rescue program on May 6, 2015. Mazie Mae came from as an owner surrender when she was injured in the Tornado in Bridge Creek. Mazie Mae is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Mare. Mazie Mae is estimated to be 3 years of age. Mazie Mae had some pretty significant injuries on her head and chest. She had a fractured skull resulting from the debris that she was hit with during the Tornado. She had surgery to remove the bone fragments. She healed wonderfully and looks great. Mazie Mae is halter broke and broke to lead. She has not been started under saddle. She is a smart girl and would probably be easy to get her going. She stands for the farrier, and loads in a trailer. She is a super sweet girl and loves attention. Mazie Mae has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Mazie Mae was picked for our 5th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Youth Trainer Jordan Connelly. Jordan will be working with Mazie Mae for the next 120 days, turning Mazie Mae into a dependable riding companion. Jordan will be going against 6 Youth Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 10 Adult Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 21, 2016 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Mazie Mae is a sweet girl and loves attention. Mazie Mae has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Mazie Mae has also been freeze branded for her protection. Mazie Mae has been adopted to a wonderful home in Edmond, Oklahoma. Mazie Mae is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl has the forever, loving family she deserves where she will have an unlimited amount of attention.
